Paul Fallon - Destination Great Lake Taupo (sector representative)
Paul is the Managing Director of FRED. He has been involved in brand development, marketing planning and product positioning for over ten years. Managing several start-up companies and projects, his past experience includes senior positions in the tourism, hospitality, motoring and retail industries, mostly in the roles of marketing, management and creative direction. He brings years of executive influence and is a proponent of strategic brand positioning and measurable marketing.

Rob Marshall is a Director of Cheal Consultants Ltd. Cheal Consultants is an engineering, survey and planning consultancy with offices in Taupo, Taumarunui, Ohakune and Feilding. Cheal was established in Taupo over 70 years ago and has helped to shape the District through its involvement in many private and community driven projects. Rob is a resource management planner, and with over 14 years living and working in Taupo has extensive experience across the central north island. He joined Cheal Consultants in 2001 and has been a Director since 2003. Rob is passionate about Taupo and is committed to assisting the community in its attempts to remain economically, socially and environmentally vibrant.

Geoff Thorp - Forestry
Geoff is the Forest Manager for the Lake Taupo and Lake Rotoaira Forest Trusts – Maori land-owning Trusts which own extensive tracts of land and forest in the Taupo region. These forests were established 30 – 40 years ago, and are now on a sustainable production cycle, with around 1,200 ha/year being harvested and replanted, producing around 700,000 m3 of logs each year. Geoff has been in Taupo for 11 years, though also spent 7 years here as a forestry consultant in the 1980s. He has forestry experience throughout NZ and through the Pacific and Asia, and is keen to see more wood being processed in our region.
